Construction Documents 101

The course is intended to enable attendees to pick up a set of construction plans and understand the content. The course focuses on civil engineering drawings and covers symbols, elevations, lengths of pipe, cut/fill, standard details, notes, etc. Further, it provides a foundational knowledge and the skills needed to interpret highway and roadway plans, essential for anyone involved in construction, maintenance, or planning. The course covers various aspects of plan reading, including understanding symbols, abbreviations, scales, and dimensions, as well as identifying different types of plans and their components.
